Comedian Mo Amer, Opener for Dave Chappelle

When you're the guy that Dave Chappelle calls to open for him when he goes on tour, you know that you've arrived as a stand-up. That's Mo Amer, a pioneer of Arab-American comedy and one of the freshest voices you'll hear in clubs today. Mo first made a name for himself as one-third of the "Allah Made Me Funny" comedy tour. The Houston native performed on the 2013 CBS special "What's So Funny About Religion?", and created his own solo comedy show "Legally Homeless: Trials of a Refugee".
